Next meeting of Programme Club

The Chesterfield FC Programme Club will meet on Thursday, March 3, at 7pm.

The club is part of the heritage project of the Chesterfield FC Community Trust and builds on the work done around the official archive of Chesterfield programmes. The archive has programmes from more than 3,200 games, including virtually every issue, home and away, from 1970.

The meeting next week will concentrate on the last three seasons when programmes have been hard to obtain due to the pandemic. Copies from most matches over that time will be available to buy. The meeting will also look at the 1953/54 season, with examples from the archive and collectors available to view.

The meeting, which is in the National Windscreens Vice-Presidents Lounge at the Technique Stadium, is open to all. The bar will be open for drinks. Those attending can bring lists of required programmes from all seasons so that the 25,000 issues that are in storage can be made available to those interested.
