Assistant-manager Danny Webb gave his thoughts ahead of the huge clash with Wrexham on Tuesday night.
Speaking to the media, he said: “I can’t wait for the game, this is a huge game. Big doesn’t cut it, it’s a massive game and we can’t shy away from that.
“These are the games you’re in the game for. It should be an incredible atmosphere and a great occasion for both sides.
“We have to believe we can go and get a result; we are going there to try and win the game.”
Webb also touched on Wrexham’s threats but believes the Spireites can cause problems of their own.
“They’re powerful, strong and without doubt a great side,” he said.
“We have to nullify their threats and be at our best. We have to be at our best to get anything out of this game.
“We have to be on our toes from minute one to the final second.
“Wrexham are dangerous in many different ways, especially at home. It’s important to remember that we are dangerous too and we bring our own threats.”
The assistant-manager stressed the importance of supporters and how they will have to back the lads tomorrow to help the Spireites through the game, adding: “It’s a great evening for the supporters that can go, we’re looking forward to seeing those Spireites in the away end.
“I’m sure they’ll be up for it and they’ll all be looking forward to kick-off already.
“They’ll back the lads and those small amount that are there tomorrow will be very important for us.
“The lads will relish the atmosphere tomorrow, I’m sure.”
