Goals from Joe Quigley and Tom Naylor secured a 2-0 victory over Bromley to make it nine games unbeaten for the Spireites.
Paul Cook made six changes from the side that faced Maidenhead United last week as Jeff King, Ash Palmer, Branden Horton, Mike Jones, James Berry, and Quigley came into the starting XI.
Ollie Banks forced a fantastic save from Grant Smith early on, with a curling effort from the edge of the area.
The Spireites dominated the opening 15 minutes, recycling possession well and keeping pressure on Bromley.
Despite dominating proceedings, the Spireites failing to create any clear-cut chances in the opening 30 minutes.
Jude Arthurs came close for Bromley from a free kick, around 25 yards out, but his attempt went narrowly wide.
Bromley had another chance when the ball fell to Michael Cheek, following a wide free kick, but his volleyed attempt went wide.
The Spireites went into half time with the game tied at 0-0.
Banks tried his luck from range early in the second half with a powerful effort that went slightly wide of the target.
The Spireites took the lead in the 55th minute through Quigley. Branden Horton whipped in a lovely cross from the left-hand side and Quigley was there to head into the net.
James Berry almost doubled the Spireites’ lead when he struck the ball at the back post, following a cross, but his shot went wide.
Naylor made it 2-0 in the 75th minute, following a corner. Jeff King’s cross fell to Naylor inside the box who headed the ball home for the Spireites.
Banks almost made it three for the Spireites after sliding in at the back post, but he narrowly missed making connection.
Attention will now turn to next Saturday’s away trip to Boreham Wood.
