Paul Cook is set to take charge of his first home game back in charge of the Spireites, when the Blues take on Solihull Moors at the Technique Stadium this afternoon. There’s set to be a huge crowd to welcome Cook back to Chesterfield and the gaffer will be looking to get back to winning ways, after the Spireites drew their last two fixtures. The lads will be looking to keep the pressure on table-toppers Stockport County, who show no sign of slowing down.

Kabongo Tshimanga is set for a lengthy amount of time on the sidelines, after picking up a serious injury at Weymouth.
Manny Oyeleke went off in the 60th minute last time out and Danny Webb said in the pre-match press conference that he wouldn’t be available today. Curtis Weston could be set to start this fixture in place of Manny, after picking up some minutes against Weymouth for the first time since his injury.
Tom Denton will be hoping he has done enough to impress the new boss. The striker will be looking to regain his place in the side.
Meanwhile, Jeff King is suspended for this fixture, as he picked up a three-game match ban after being sent-off against Stockport.

Solihull are a recently founded club, after only being created just 14 years ago. The club is based in Birmingham with recent years being spent in and around the National League.
They impressively finished in second place in the National League back in the 2018/19 season, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Football League. The club have made it clear that their ambition is to compete within the top four divisions of English football and will be hoping they can achieve promotion this season.
They recently held Wigan Athletic to a draw in the FA Cup, forcing a replay at Damson Park, where they were narrowly edged out by the League One side.
Solihull currently sit in sixth position.

Joseph Sbarra is an English midfielder who began his career at Burton Albion, before joining Solihull Moors on a permanent basis in 2020. The attacking midfielder has scored 17 goals in 60 appearances for the Moors.
