MANAGER
Simon Weaver was appointed player/manager of Harrogate Town, then of the Conference North, in 2009. He is now the longest-serving manager currently in the EFL. He won two promotions with the club to take them to League Two as well winning the FA Trophy in 2021.

From a personal standpoint, Ellis Taylor’s first season at Harrogate Town was a success, after joining last year from Sunderland. The 22-year-old can play throughout the midfielder – operating both in the centre of midfield and out on the wings.

Lloyd Kerry joined Chesterfield initially on a one-month loan from Sheffield United in February 2008, which eventually became a season-long loan. At the end of the campaign, the midfielder left the club to re-join the Spireites on a permanent deal. He spent two years at Saltergate, making over 50 appearances and scoring six goals.
After spells at Hinckley United and Tamworth, Kerry joined Harrogate Town ahead of the 2014/15 season. He would become a club legend, making over 150 appearances in his seven years with the Sulphurites. Kerry played a part in Simon Weaver’s side winning promotion to the Football League.
