On Ben Strevens

Best known for his stints as Barnet, Dagenham & Redbridge and Eastleigh, Ben Strevens started his coaching career with the latter in his final spell at the club. After two years of being assistant manager, the former forward became manager of the club in October 2018. Strevens left in January 2022 before joining Dagenham & Redbridge over a year later.

One to watch

Inih Effiong is one of the best strikers in the National League and has proved that for the past several years. Despite a slow start to the season, which saw him miss numerous games, the forward has found some scintillating form. Effiong has scored eight times in his last eight National League games.

View from the dugout

Danny Webb said: “We’re 19 points clear, but there isn’t 19 points to play for – there’s a lot more than that.

“We’ve got to make sure we keep going. Dagenham is going to be a really tough place to go and we’ll be doing our best to get the three points.”
